Plunderer is a 2014 original manga series by Suu Minazuki. Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Shonen Ace magazine published the manga for eight years. So far, the text has covered close to nineteen volumes in total. It was much later in 2020 that Studio Geek Toys picked up the project. Out of the nineteen volumes covering 75+ chapters, the anime ended up using only the first ten volumes. This only amounted to the 38th chapter.
To much surprise, this is the exact mid-point of the manga. Now, only 39 chapters are left for a second season. This is both good and bad news at the same time. On the one hand, fans can be hopeful that they will be getting Plunderer Season 2. But at the same time, the chances of getting a season after that are low. Plunderer manga is an ongoing work that might take years to cover forty chapters for another season.

So, she decided to leave things on their own and not to put any more effort. On the other side, Lynn was being forced to accept the same. Even though in his heart, he knew that Pele was one of the members of the SSUs, the villagers wanted to convince him to be with Lynn.
Meanwhile, Hina grabbed this opportunity to get closer to Licht. But Murdoch came in to save the day for him. But something strange happened towards the end of the season. Licht comes to know that his classmates were not, in fact, dead. And they planned to capture the capital city on their own. Now, Plunderer Season 2 will draw the plot from this arc. The capturing of the city will be the main crux of the sequel. Plus, Licht will also try to reunite with the people he had lost in the first season.

Plunderer Season 2 Release Date
As of now, Plunderer Season 2 does not have an official release date. Since the series has not been renewed, fans can hope for a quiet long break until the show finally returns to the screens once again.
