In the third episode, Gagumber and Memenpu finally started working on their mission. The first step of the mission was to find the best route to reach the epicenter of the Earthquakes. Gagumber wanted to find the safest route to the spot. However, Memenpu argued that they should look for the shortest way. Later that night, the team is attacked by a Kaiju yet again. Gagumber exclaimed that he would distract the kaiju so that Memenpu could find a way out.
Memenpu found a crack on the surface and decided to explore it. Thus, she jumped straight into the crack to find another route. She found bones of a Marker in the cave. Soon, a huge group of monsters began to follow her. Thus, she closed herself within a container. Gagumber soon came to her rescue. By the end of the episode, they encountered a mysterious man on the other end of the crack.
