Its second installment premiered on October 2, 2018, and concluded on December 25 of the same year after running for thirteen episodes.

The first two installments of the anime received a mixed response from everyone. The viewers liked this show, but it failed to impress the experts. Its critical reception wasn’t up to the mark, while the ratings were also average. The first season has a score of 6.37, whereas the second one has a score of 6.53 on MyAnimeList. The anime is moderately popular as it only has 25K members in its group.

What’s The Show About?
The plot of the anime revolves around Subaru Ichinose. He loves the cockpit of its spacecraft. He tried to interact with his crewmates, but it never went well. So, he always uses his cockpit to isolate himself. Subaru is also an ace pilot of an elite Space Battleship Tiramisu. It is the Earth’s most important battleship, and its main purpose is to save the planet from outside threats that come from the different parts of the universe.
Subaru is tasked with encroaching foreign colonies in order to save his planet. The fate of Earth entirely depends on Subaru’s hands. Throughout the series, the protagonist goes on different adventures in space so that he can eliminate the threats.
Space Battleship Tiramisu Season 2: Release Date
The first two seasons of the Uchuu Senkan Tiramisu were released in the very same year. Hence, the fans thought the third one would also release sooner. However, it didn’t happen, and it has already been three years. Therefore, the makers will renew the series only when they get enough content for its third season. Fans can hope that they get the required source material and the renewal by the end of next year. In that case, Space Battleship Tiramisu Season 2 might premiere in the first half of 2024.
