Naruto
The reason why this is the second name in the league of the Big Three is that it was the second one that ended the course. Naruto first came out in the year 2002 and ran for more than fifteen years. The series mainly came out in two parts, namely Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. On the other hand, the original manga by Masashi Kishimoto came out in 1999, and 2014 was the last year for the publishing of the manga. All of the seasons and spin-offs are a production of Studio Pierrot and Aniplex.
The story essentially follows that titular character Naruto Uzumaki who wishes to become the greatest master of the art of ninja and martial arts. Moreover, being an orphan, his physical strength is his only resource to find power and name. Thus, the young boy reaches out to several ninja masters and learns to hold a grip over his art. The show is full of action sequences and battles that will keep you on the edge of your seat. So, if you are up for a show that is more than five hundred episodes long, Naruto is a perfect choice.

One Piece
By record, One Piece is the longest-running anime of all time. The show has been punctually airing from the year 1999, making it a part of the Big Three. The original manga by Eiichiro Oda first came out in July 1997. Two years later, Toei Animation took up the anime project. Since then, the manga has recently completed a thousand chapters and ninety-nine volumes. Moreover, at the time of writing this article, the anime will soon mark the thousandth episode as well.
One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D Luffy and his pirate friends on a ship. The team of mismatched outcasts is looking for the treasure called the One Piece. This treasure can make anyone the king of all Pirates, which Luffy wants to become. Thus, their adventurous voyage begins. However, many evil men are also looking for the same jewel. The back and forth between the Straw Hat pirates and the rest of the villains of the sea make up for the plot of One Piece.
