Aside from this, the teaser shows Canute, Floki, and Thorkell, who will return from season 1. We also see a grown-up Thornfinn, but he appears depressed.
The second and latest teaser introduces a new character, Einar, from Northern England, who will be friends with Thorfinn and is crucial to the impending narrative. Thorfinn seems in despair when Einar appears to bring his inner spirit back. Apart from that, There are themes of death and murder, as well as perseverance when all hope appears to be lost.

Askeladd’s passing marked the conclusion of the first season. Askeladd, in his final moments, tells him to continue to move forward and go beyond the world where Thors went.
