Right after the release of the 170th chapter, Murata took to his Twitter account to announce that he would be taking a break from work before commencing the manga with One Punch Man Chapter 171. He insisted that he would be working in the next arc of the manga as the Monster Association act comes to an end. How Long Will The Break Last?
If considering the break announcement, One Punch Man Chapter 171 must come back in the second week of September. But internal sources from the publishing firms tell us that the text would not be back until the month of October. Even in the past, it was seen that chapter 150 did not come back anytime after the hiatus. Adding to this is the fact that Murata is a quality-driven artist. Given the opportunity, he takes more time to put into his work and bring the best quality to the table. So, even for the next arc, fans should be assured that the text would not come out even in the month of September. But there is no need to fret.

But as per the announcement of the break, the chapter will not be back until the first or second week of October.
