So the manga won’t return for the next three weeks. As of now, One Piece Chapter 1069 is about to come out soon. So after that chapter, fans will have to wait to read net chapter until next year to discover what will happen next in Luffy and his crew’s life.
Reason Behind This Hiatuses
This three-week-long break is just like the rest of the breaks One Piece has taken in the last few years. In February 2020, the manga took a break because the creator, Eiichiro Oda’s health wasn’t alright. Later in June 2022, the manga took another temporary sabbatical to provide Oda some time to finish the series’ final saga. The manga isn’t the one that goes on a hiatus.
In fact, Toei Animation put its two best anime Digimon Ghost Game and One Piece, on hold due to a hacking incident. So instead of airing the new episodes, the studio broadcast reruns indefinitely. Well, they normally go on a break to give creators or illustrations some time away from their busy schedules. However, the creator hasn’t revealed the reason behind the delay.
