There is a wonderful piece of news for the fans who had been waiting to watch the continuation of Arifureta’s story. The second season turned out to be a bigger fiesta than the first outing. Soon as the season came to an end, the makers were quick to announce a new outing, Arifureta Season 2 OVA. This is the fourth OVA in the line of the anime. This week brought some exciting news for the fans. So, here is all you need to know about the OVA.
The OVA for the second season was announced right as the season came to an end in January 2022. Before this, Studio White Fox has released two other OVAs of the same story. It was also mentioned that the outing will be 40 minutes long.
Arifureta Season 2 OVA: First Visual Out!
This is only the second time that there has been a development over the OVA of the show. All the social media and official websites of the anime confirmed that Arifureta Season 2 OVA finally has a confirmed release date. Along with this, an anime visual has also been put out in the public domain. This visual is most likely to be the cover of the DVDs. Along with this, it was also confirmed that the light novel edition would not be facing any delay. You can check out the visual right here.
What Will Be The Plot?
As of the time of writing, the final plot of the OVA has not been confirmed. But there is a good chance that the story will be played right after the events of the second season. Or it would pick up one of the subplots of the particular season. Those events would be elaborated in the following season. The same storyline of Hajime Nagumo being pulled into the fantasy world will be predominant in the next season.
The previous OVA was seen during the events when Myu was still in the group. Thus, this one would take place during the mid-point of the anime. Somewhere between the episode “Memories From The Bottom of the Sea,” the events of Arifureta Season 2 OVA might find a place.
Arifureta Season 2 OVA: Release Date
The most recent announcement was quick to come out with the final release date of the show. So, continuing the story forth the second season of Arifureta, Arifureta Season 2 OVA will come out on September 25, 2022. Unfortunately, the Blu-Ray release is exclusive to the territories of Japan.
