The news was also directly shared by author Kazue Kato on her Twitter feed. The mangaka shares her personal reasons for taking a break from work. Earlier this year, the Blue Exorcist manga was on hiatus from February 2021 to March 2021. It was a regular fatigue break that Kato took to maintain the quality of her work. But this hiatus traces a different reason altogether. So, without any further ado, here is all that you must know!
Blue Exorcist Chapter 133: Reason For Hiatus!
As the official sources suggest, author Kazue Kato will be working on other projects in the meantime. The artist will be illustrating her adaptation of the Eizen Karukaya Kaiitan manga, better known as the Strange Tales from the Handy Shop Karukaya. This happens to be the original horror manga by Fuyumi Ono. Hence, Kato will draw six chapters for the mini-series.
Moreover, Strange Tales from the Handy Shop Karukaya is likely to release in September this year. The October Issue of Shueisha’s Jump SQ magazine will publish the horror mini-series. After this, the writer will resume working on Blue Exorcist. Still, fans should prepare themselves for a long hiatus because the manga will not be returning by October. So, if you want to enjoy the work of Kato, it’s time that you start developing a liking for the horror genre.
When Is Blue Exorcist Coming Back?
Sadly, Blue Exorcist Chapter 133 is not returning anytime soon. According to the author, the hiatus will last a good seven-eight month. Moreover, the manga is likely to return on a tentative schedule of April 2022. However, it is still not clear if the break will get a further push.
