Viper was waiting for them inside the cave. The first question he asked Kim was whether or not he had done the nine bows properly. Then, he told them that they had finally developed a cure.
But there was a problem with the cure. The King of death said that they might have to destroy the Dantian. The king then said that he would be having the surgery to know more about the drawbacks of the cure. In the next panel, the surgery was a success. Beakhyang then sat with Kim to tell him that the Killing Heart was still distant from her. Thus, she was going to take the surgery herself.
