The title of Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 11 was “The King and the Sword.” The episode started with Canute and Waff fighting. And with the victory of Canute, all the people were delighted with the win, everyone was praising his effort. In the next scene, it turned out that Canute was dealing with a high lack of funds. Thus, a lot of his work was stuck in places. Ketil was back from his expedition, only to learn that Herald was dead.
Thorfil’s death deeply moves the man. On the other side, Lief is seen to be searching for Thorfinn. Soon enough, he learns that the man he was looking for was at the Ketil farm. In the last act of the episode, Olmar was applying for the position of guard alongside Wulf, but he loses at it very badly. And the episode comes to an end with Olmar finding a place in Canute’s financial plan.
