Ousama Ranking Manga English Version Discontinued
On Thursday, March 31, 2022, E-Book publisher BookLive made an announcement revealing that they are going to discontinue the publishing of the English version of the Ousama Ranking manga. So far, BookLive has released the first seven volumes of the text already. This covered up to the first fifty chapters. But it turned out that the translations which the company had been releasing were not in sync with the gist of the story. In addition, there were other typographical errors in the translations.
After getting as many complaints, the company addressed the matter and decided to take action. The announcement came that all the books would go for a retranslation immediately. So now, none of the translations are either on the web or in the markets.
How Long Will The Break Last?
On this matter, the company reads out a statement. BookLive apologized for “spoiling the image” of the manga. However, the company has not said anything about how long this break will last. It is understandable that the manga will come back once all the 50 chapters get a new translation. Plus, a new team will translate the next chapters in line. This will certainly take two to three months of work.
Ousama Ranking Manga: When Is It Coming Back?
As of the time of writing, there is no update on when the manga is coming back with its English translation. The publisher has only officially said that Ousama Ranking Manga English Version will come back ‘as soon as possible.’ Thus, there is no tentative date on when we can hope to see the manga return.
