The title of Chainsaw Man Chapter 123 was “Hors D’oeuvre.” This episode started with the Falling Devil noticing that her body was not adorned with any clothes. As a result of this, she found a chef and took her uniform for herself. She then said that she would act as the chef tonight upon the official request of Hell. Yoru was continuously telling Asa to get as far away from this devil as possible. But Asa was experiencing something completely different.
There was a traumatic flashback that kept recurring in her head. This was about the time when the lady from her orphanage was asking her to leave the cat that she saved, losing her mother. She gave the cat to one of her friends. However, it turned out that the friend had killed that cat by drowning her in the river. In the last act of the chapter, Asa wakes up from this nightmare.
As a result of this, the entire control of her body was with her again, meaning that Yoru was now a powerless entity. But Asa notices that a lot of people around her were floating. Yoru tells her not to be scared of this situation. Something was to transpire from this very soon!
