What’s The Show About?
The story takes place in the fortress city of Deca-Dence. Here, a lowly tanker girl, Natsume, pursues her goal of becoming a gear warrior after her father’s death in a Gadoll attack. Gear goes out to fight in the front, whereas the tankers provide them support from the back. Natsume becomes a part of the maintenance team led by Kaburagi. However, she discovered something about him. Kaburagi is working secretly to eliminate bugs.
Whereas Kaburagi learned that in the company’s database, Natsume is dead. So, he decides to take her under his observation and taught her how to fight.
Deca-Dence Season 2: Will The Anime Ever Return?
The first season of the anime managed to impress the viewers globally. From ratings to popularity, everything is in favor of the anime’s second season. However, after looking at the Season 1 finale episode, it seems like the makers intended to make it a limited series. They closed all the losing threads and didn’t leave any room for the storyline of Deca-Dence Season 2.
The ending was quite satisfying, so it won’t make any sense to ruin it by extending the storyline. The director did tease the possibility of a second season, but it wasn’t promising enough. So, the chances for the anime to return for very less. However, there is a great possibility for a spin-off series or a movie to happen in the near future due to its large fan following.
