Infinite Dendrogram, aka Infinitto Dendoroguramu, is a Japanese fantasy anime series. It follows its plot from a fantasy light novel series of the same title by Sakon Kaidou and Taiki. NAZ Animation Studio picked up the story for an anime adaptation that ran for thirteen episodes. The viewers saw its first episode on January 9, 2020, and it ended on April 16 of the same year.
Infinite Dendrogram Season 2: Renewal Status!
The viewers really liked the first season of the anime series. It has a very neat and unique art style. However, the anime turned out to be not that unique as it offered typical gaming stuff. The audience has seen this type of content a lot of times before. Hence, this is one of the main reasons why the show received average or mixed reviews from the critics. Besides, it might be why the production studio hasn’t renewed Infinite Dendrogram Season 2 so far. However, anime series often take a lot of time in giving a green flag for sequels. And the debut season of the anime series has only adapted the plot till the fifth volume. Therefore, NAZ Studio still has a lot of content to use for the plot of Infinite Dendrogram Season 2. They can even make two more seasons of the anime series with the remaining volumes.

Despite getting a great response from the viewers, the anime was not received well by the critics. It only has an average score of 6.14 on MyAnimeList. Well, the rating is quite low as compared to the other shows of the same genre. But the good thing is that the LN and the manga series are still running. Therefore, as long as it receives a good response from the audience, the chances for Infinite Dendrogram Season 2 to happen will remain alive. It is likely that the makers will give another shot to the anime series and renew it for the second season in order to promote the source material.
