The previous episode of Kyoukai Senki, titled “The Sanctuary,” started Yuusei contacting Yatagarasu. He told him that the Japanese Sanctuary was undergoing a major threat. Some unwanted elements had taken over the NAC border. Later on, Cyril told them that he had massive respect for Japan for handling this situation with utmost responsibility. On the next day, things had changed more than they had been expecting.
The Yatagarasu and Cyril warriors staged a fight with one another. The NAC force understood that these forces were busy fighting one another. But when Zack Taylor arrived at the scene, he was taken aback for a moment. Soon enough, the NAC forces planned a retreat out of the area. The episode came to an end with Amo witnessing Cyril’s wife giving birth to a daughter.
