Initially, the buzz around the show was so high that the franchise ended up releasing two feature films and multiple events in the name of Made in Abyss. We also saw the animation studio revealing that a sequel is under construction. Well, for months, the production status of the much-awaited new episodes was still unknown. Unfortunately, the poster fails to reveal a lot of details of the sequel. However, we do know for sure that the anime series will kick off after the events of the Dawn of the Deep Soul feature film. The new season of this renowned franchised is titled Made in Abyss: The Sun Blazes Upon The Golden City. As per the current updates, a definite date has not been revealed just yet. What we do know that the sequel is making a huge return in 2022. Considering the usual release cycle, the month of July seems appropriate for release. Hence, as of now, fans can expect to watch the new episodes sometime in July 2020.
