The opening scene of Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 123 was about Yuna dreaming of Ijin. In the sequence, she confesses her love to the boy, and he also reverts to the same emotions. The dream breaks as soon as Jiyeh called Yuna back to reality. Later on, she asks the lady if Ijin is free from his training. But the lady rejected the idea right away. Inside the car, she asks Ijin if there was someone in his heart.
But the boy replies by saying that he does not have the right to fall in love with anyone. By saying this, he was pointing towards his past and the dangers that he has been in. In the second half of the chapter, we see that Ijin has come to the grocery store to help his sister. The chapter comes to an end with a separate meeting taking place behind the backs of our hero.
