The debut installment of this show received a brilliant response from everyone. It also holds a great score of 7.52 on MyAnimeList. The show is ranked at #21 in popularity on the same platform. Despite being that popular, the only reason it didn’t return was the lack of its source material. The story is already complete, and the author is not in any mood to stretch it out. Therefore, it is likely that there won’t be Mirai Nikki Season 2. There is a slight chance that the fans might see its reboot sometime in the near future.
