The opening scene of the first episode was about the introduction of two friends, namely, Setsu and Yuuhi. And all of their classmates alike were called upon to another world. This is the place where they see that the world is an amalgamation of demons and humans alike. Though the two communities live together, there takes place strange and strong fights between the two. And so, we see that Setsu managed to fight a big monster in the first entry itself.
Later on, he was able to detect that there was some strange magical trace within these creatures. In the next scene, Eruka, Grain, and Tia sit together to discuss the fate of humanity if the demons continued to attack like this. The first episode comes to an end with the King and Queen holding a discussion, only to confess that they are planning to announce a war!
