With this, the story will kick-start from the third volume of the LN, essentially the 25th chapter of the manga. This includes the Obon festival arc of the story. The second season will begin with the opening of a strange portal. Enters a little girl who walks up to the Devil King. She utters the words ‘papa’ and ‘mama.’
While the shock of them being partners was a lot in their own, the return of a missing child adds to the mystery. Both Ashiya and Chiho are shocked at the sight of them being in a relationship. On top of this, even Maou and Emi are not fixated on how this child came to be. The Devil Is A Part-Timer Season 2 will essentially deal with the family arc of the story.
