The Thousand Noble Musketeers, aka Senjuushi in Japanese, is an action military anime TV series. It is an adaptation of a mobile game of the same title by Line Games and Marvelous Entertainment. Double Eagle and TMS Entertainment jointly animated the co-animated the anime’s first season. Its premiere episode came out on July 3, 2018. The show ran for a total of twelve episodes before ending on September 25 of the same year.

As we mentioned above, the first season of this action drama failed to impress the viewers as well as the critics. The latter even provided it a negative response. Nothing about this show impressed them. Its animation, storyline, character development, everything has major flaws. On MyAnimeList, Senjuushi has a very poor score of 4.90. The series is not that popular as well and has only 12K members in its MAL group.
Also, the story of the anime follows the plot of a mobile game. The production studio already provided a conclusive ending to the series. Therefore, the chances are very low that fans will see The Thousand Noble Musketeers Season 2, especially after poor ratings and bad critical reception. What’s The Show About?
The story of The Thousand Noble Musketeers is set in a place where the world has been destroyed due to nuclear war. The world empire took away their freedom. There is also a rule that no one can own any kind of weapon. However, despite that, there is resistance that secretly owns weapons and uses them to fight against the world empire. They use ancient guns that were left as art. Later, the soul of this ancient gun, Kijuushi, appeared and became the sole hope to save the world. Most of the story of the anime revolves around the life of Kijuushi and how he fights the world empire.
The Thousand Noble Musketeers Season 2: Release Date
As we mentioned above, the probability for Senjuushi’s sequel to happen is almost zero. Only a miracle can save this show now. In case it happens, and the producers decide to invest in the show again, the show might return within two years.
