On the 9th Anniversary of the Overlap Bunko, an online event took place exclusively for the fans. Along with commemoratory celebrations, there was a special announcement for the fans of horror fantasies. The producers at Overlap Bunko announced that The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Anime was finally happening. The anime based on Yu Okano’s dark fantasy work had always been in demand. What Is The Series About?
As per the official update shared by ANN, The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Anime is the story of a twenty-five-year-old protagonist named Rentt Faina. After years of exploring and chasing newer journeys, Rentt finds himself in the midst of a circuit of Slimes and Goblins. But everything changes in his life when he comes across an unseen path. This was the way to the Labyrinth of the Moon’s Reflection.
At the end of the route sits a legendary dragon who is willing to devour all and every soul. However, after meeting with the dragon, Rentt comes to the realization that he is not, in fact, in the dragon’s stomach. However, all the flesh and blood in his body is now gone and he had to live as an armored skeleton. The entire story revolves around him trying to revive his human form.
The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Anime: Release Date
As of the time of writing, there has not been any word on the official premiere. In fact, the extent of production is also under the covers. If the animation has only began with the announcement, then it would take a year for the makers to finish the product.
