It is a tale full of mystery, horror and supernatural events. The plot of Higurashi When They Cry based on the adventure of four young girls. The story begins when they pay a visit to a very calm and peaceful Hinamizawa village. But, after some time they found that things are not as good in this village as they have shown.

At the end of a yearly event, death was confirmed with no apparent reason. The local people named those deaths Oyashiro Curse. The story portrays how those young girls begin their search on Oyashiro Curse and struggle to reveal the truth about it.

It was the site through which a person could send any of his rivals in the hell but along with some terms and conditions.
