Tracen Academy trains horse-girls like them to become great racers. Uma Musume: Pretty Derby is a mixed media franchise. It started off as a manga titled Starting Gate!: Uma Musume Pretty Derby by S.Komugi. Cygames developed a game and franchised the series. The manga started serializing on the Cycomis website in 2016. It is still serializing. A spinoff named Uma Musume: Cinderella Grey is also ongoing.

Uma Musume: Pretty Derby is getting a third season! Studio Kai, who is responsible for the project, announced the news recently. Another new project named Road to The Top, which is a net anime is also in the works. The makers of the anime also released a teaser trailer alongside the news. P. A Works developed the first season of the anime. It aired on TV in 2018. The second season witnessed a studio change. Studio Kai made the second season which aired in 2021.
Currently, there are no details for the staff and cast of the third season. But, one can only assume that the staff from the second season will return. The first and second seasons of the anime focused on the girls as they participated in more and more races. Here is the trailer for the series!
