Ayumu starts feeling for Yaotome, and he decides to share his feelings when he wins the match. One day he was about to open up his heart but vowed to stay mum. But his attempt goes in vain as Yaotome is an excellent player.
Meanwhile, Yaotome’s cute president discovers that her underclassman has a crush on her. Every day they play the shogi club after school. But no matter how hard Yaotome tries, she fails to tick him to confess his feelings. However, she isn’t aware that Ayumu decides to express his feelings when he wins the match and defeats Yaotome.
