Yashahime Princess Half-Demon Season 2 has new updates! Ever since the 2000 show Inuyasha began airing on television, there has been no competition for its story. When the show reached a halt in 2009, licensor Viz Media did its best to keep its relevance high. However, with the arrival of newer projects, the show saw a downfall. But in October 2020, when the spin-off came out, all expectations were revived once again.
This anime is the second part of the Inuyasha spin-off anime series. Studio Sunrise is working on the show. Much like how other classics like Dragon Ball and Naruto came out with spin-offs with next-generation heroes, Inuyasha took the same route. This time, the heroes will be the daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha. We get introduced to Towa and Setsuna, who are twin sisters and also hybrids like their mother. Lost in a tragedy, these two girls are now separated.
After living separate lives for more than ten years, the girls reunite only to find out that their memories of each other have been hindered. Nonetheless, Setsuna asks Towa to join her cause of slaying demons in the land of ancient Japan. Hence, follow the journey of these brave girls in Yashahime Princess Half-Demon Season 2 as they reflect the legend of their guardians, Inuyasha, and Sesshomaru.
Staff Updates: NEWS Band Returns For Season 2
The director who brought to us the legend of Inuyasha, Teruo Sato, is returning to the sets once again. Katsuyuki Sumisawa will be looking after the scriptwriting. On the other hand, Yoshihito Hishinuma is in charge of the animation designs. Author Takahashi will be designing the characters and locations for the show. Besides, Kaoru Wada will be looking after the music composition and background score of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Season 2. And finally, the latest news suggests that the NEWS idol group is returning for the show. They will give their single as the opening credit song.
Yashahime Princess Half-Demon Season 2: Release Date
The story of Towa and Setsuna is all set to release this year itself. The much-awaited anime sequel will be arriving on October 2, 2021. For now, Yomiuri TV and NTV will be releasing the anime on television. Later, the series will release on OTT as soon as a digital partner comes in. So, mark the dates in your calendar because missing out is not an option.
