Despite the monster’s powerful attacks, the group fought back with all their might. Ryu managed to take down two of the Skull Sheep that appeared in their safe room, while Bell killed the third one. Meanwhile, Ouka ran towards the monster, instructing Welf to use his magic as he prepared to attack. Under the water, Mikoto struggled to regain her strength. But she recited a spell for Ouka, temporarily subduing the Amphisbaena.
Together, Ouka and Aisha were able to defeat the monster. After the battle, the group tended to the wounded and decided to head up to a higher floor. However, they realized that Bell was still down on the lower floors and Lili suggested they should save him first. The party was torn between regrouping and pushing on deeper into the dungeon. Cassandra insisted on following her earlier vision, but Daphne disagreed. A giant crystal suddenly fell from the ceiling and almost killed Cassandra, leading Daphne to finally agree to trust Cassandra’s lead.
