Like many other annual events of the anime industry, Aniplex anime expo 2020 is also going online this year. The pandemic has created difficulties for the production houses to continue their work. Concerning the safety issues of their employees and staff members, many companies ceased their work. Several anime temporarily stopped serializing, and their creators promised to resume them asap. Similarly, lots of events were in the queue this year but, unfortunately, due to the ongoing crisis, most of them got postponed.
Now, as it seems nearly impossible to have regular events as they held every year, the companies are here with new ideas. Most of them are conducting virtually to ensure the safety of participants, sponsors, workers, audience and all other people who are going to attend the event.
Aniplex Online Fest Date And Schedule
The event from Aniplex is on board with the name Aniplex Online Fest. The name itself is quite interesting and enough to attract anime fans. It will be held from 4th to 6th July of this year, and anime fans can easily watch it on Youtube and bilibili.
Recently the official website for event released the schedule for the two-day virtual event. It has several anime series, shows, programs, your favourite celebrity guests and lot of interesting stuff.
First Day
The first day of Aniplex Online Fest is starting with the virtual reality-based anime Sword Art Online. By 10 am on July 4, Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld will be there to entertain its followers. Soon after the anime series at 11 am a special program is scheduled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of SAO. Along with the anime and its celebration you can catch your favourite celebrity guests such as Ono Manabu, Ai Kayano and Yuki Kajiura, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka respectively.
SAO through its official twitter account also made an announcement on June 26. In its tweet, the SAO endorse its anime and program to celebrate the 10th anniversary on Aniplex Online Fest.
Other than the anime series, the fest will have shows to make this event on an intellectual level. The show’s lineup for the first day is Songs and Messages from Artists Vol. 1, How To make Figures, ANIPLEXE.EXE presents ATRI and Adabana Odd Tales.
Several other anime may include Super Hxeroes – “H”eroes Save The World, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?, The Millionaire Detective – Balance: Unmissable. Other than the anime series, the fest will have shows to make this event on an intellectual level.
Second Day
The 2nd day is also full of fun and lot of excitements along with the numerous anime series and fan favourite celebrity guests.
The anime on 2nd day of Anime Online Fest are: The Irregular At Magic High Schol: Visitor Arc The Promised Neverland, Cells at Work!! World Station. Whereas, shows may inlude How to Produce Anime, CloverWorks talking and drawing special panel and many more.
No doubt such kind of events are blessing in disguise in this tough time of pandemic and quarantine.
