The official socials of the anime posted a trailer video announcing the third Part of Attack On Titan. That is right, Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 3 will be happening. Along with this teaser, the release window for this outing was also confirmed.
Will There Be A Part 3 Or A Movie?
As for now, there is much confusion about the final part of Attack on Titan. Considering the fact that there are still nine chapters remaining to be adapted, not everything was concluded in the second part. Now, the official announcement in the English version reads the outing to be “Part 3.” However, the Japanese version of it is known as “kanketsu-hen” (conclusion). Thus, fans do not know whether this outing will be another season or a movie project.
Will It Come Back?
Sadly, there is no chance of the return of AoT after Season 5. In the span of four seasons, the entirety of the manga was covered in the series. And now, the story of Eren’s revenge over the Titans has finally come to an end. Since there is no more story to tell and the other spin-offs are not as popular or in-demand as the original, the makers would not bring it back for its namesake.

After the third season, the writers wanted to take a bold step with the character of Eren. Since Wit did not agree with those ideas, a change of studio was taken into account. Their ideas were rejected by multiple animation companies until MAPPA decided to fill the big shoes. Thus, there is a high chance that this ending is something that makers wanted to do on their own.
What Will Be The Conclusion?
In the manga, after the events of Rumbling, Mikasa and Armin decide to confront Eren. They wanted to know if he wished to eradicate the entire humanity. To this, he replies that he did not have any other option than to activate Rumbling. Because of the fact that Ymir had been obeying the orders of King Fritz for more than two thousand years, the power of the Titans persisted to increase. But Mikasa did have to abide by her duty of safeguarding human life. Thus, she was the one who ultimately took Eren’s life.
Now, this part of the story is yet to make it to the anime. Since there was a lot of debate about Eren not winning in the end, fans believe that the anime creators will twist this story to a certain extent. Moreover, judging by the fact that the entire studio was shifted to backing the idea of the importance of the story, MAPPA certainly has bigger plans for the conclusion of Attack on Titan Season 5.
