Nobuhiko Okamoto: one of the most distinct voice artists in the anime industry. He was on hiatus this month after his throat surgery. Okamoto was under his recovery phase through this whole June.
Though Okamoto had throat surgery and he was on rest still he makes sure to stay in touch with his fans. Now after his recovery as per the announcement in his blog, he is going back to work.
Nobuhiko Okamoto’s Throat Surgery
Okamoto was having discomfort in his throat for which he consulted his doctor. At the examination, it was ruled out that he has a scar in his throat. Upon the advice from his doctor, he went for the surgery. Okamoto’s surgery was scheduled in earlier days of June of this year. Now, approx. after a month of recovery, he is back to continue his work.
Currently, he is working on the project Meikoi Radio Roman de Night program along with his fellow artists Kenn and Daisuke Namikawa.
Nobuhiko Okamoto is a well-renowned dub artist. The characters he played have their separate fan base. For instance, you can take Bakugo’s character from My Hero Academia. Bakugo is the main protagonist of this series and his vocal energy is the key point which set him apart in the anime world.
Upcoming Projects
His upcoming projects may include Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma: The Fifth Plate which was supposed to release in this time period but got postponed till July due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, My Hero Academia and Re: Zero − Starting Life in Another World.

The formal dub artist is famous for his several dubs in numerous top-notch anime. For example in Tower Of God (Khun Aguero Agnes), Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma (Ryou Kurokiba), My Hero Academia (Katsuki Bakugō), Hybrid Child (Izumi Kotarō), Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka (Bete Loga), A Certain Scientific Railgun (Accelerator). He made his debut in 2006 with a TV anime Ghost Hunt in which he played the role of John Brown.
His fans from all over the world were wishing him a speedy recovery, and now when he is in good state of health, they are eager to hear him again as their favorite anime character.
