King and Queen, Kaido’s most lethal subordinates, go for Shinobu and the Akazaya Nine. Although Oden is successful in killing most of Kaido’s soldiers, he has to face the big man now. Oden could only wound Kaido, which turns him into his human form from the dragon form. However, Oden gets distracted by a cheap ploy by Kurozumi Higurashi, where he poses as his son. In the end, Oden loses.
After the defeat, it is announced in the town that Oden and his nine men will be boiled alive. Oden proposes that if any of his companions survive this boil, they will be set free. The further plot remains in the slate of Episode 974. Whether Orochi will accept this proposal or not, we will find out in the next one.
