That’s right, after the brief teasing of the renewal of the show in April 2021, the solid news of the release of the sequel is finally here. However, it is not Silver Link Studio or a staff member that confirms the arrival. The Crunchyroll Expo schedule is the official source of confirmation right now. The Expo that is soon going to announce many projects is all set with a tight schedule.
The lists include big names like the writers and directors of Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc. For now, our article concerns the release of the sequel of Restaurant to Another World. This Silver Link anime is the official adaptation of the novel series of the same name by Junpei Inuzuka. The first season came out in 2017, and the sequel is almost around the corner. Restaurant to Another World Season 2: Renewed!
Since 2017, the world has been waiting to learn if Restaurant to Another World Season 2 will ever see the light of the day. The post-credit scene of the season finale was the only hope of renewal. Even to date, the April 2021 announcement was the only vague detail about the renewal until Crunchyroll Expo showed up with their event schedule. Well, it is indeed a dull away to announce a renewal. But nonetheless, we do have a second season in the making. It is also clear from the news of the premiere that the product is almost ready. It is just a matter of time before we get to see the final result on our screens.
New Trailer & Visual Out!
Before the arrival of the anime, the makers have come out with a brand-new trailer and visual for the show. The trailer beautifully introduces the new arena that we are about to enter in Restaurant to Another World Season 2. It is evident by the animation that OLM is standing up to the expectations of the previous animators from Silver Link Studios. What To Expect From Season 2?
As one can predict, the sequel of Restaurant to Another World will follow the story that was left off in the inaugural edition. The post-credit scene gives many hints with which we can predict the plot of the upcoming season. Even if we look at the source material, the first season uses most content of the manga, mixing it with original plot details. Only the last few volumes remain to get an adaptation. Since the show is already renewed, fans can be sure to find an original plot in Restaurant to Another World Season 2.
By the end of the last season, we see that Nekoya’s door is lying open in the field. This is a clear depiction of the fact that a new patron is about to enter the scene in the new season. Since most of the manga characters have already appeared in the show, the second season will likely introduce some original characters. Let’s see what the upcoming season has in store for us.

The Crunchyroll Expo is all set to premiere the first look of Restaurant to Another World Season 2. Like many anime releases, the public premiere date is mostly revealed through the event. For now, the sequel does not have a solid release date besides the world premiere. Even in the Expo, it is yet unknown as to when the screening will find a slot. Nonetheless, you can expect to see the first look of the second season between August 5-7 this year. Furthermore, the television and digital release date will see an announcement in the Expo itself.
