The makers of Boruto Naruto Next Generations have finally revealed the release date of Sasuke Retsuden Arc. This special arc is going to release soon in the coming few weeks. Earlier all details were under wraps. However, the makers have dropped a new visual and key update on this new storyline. When is the new arc coming out? What might unfold for Naruto and his father? The arc will follow the special light novel spinoff, Sasuke Retsuden: The Uchiha Descendants and the Heavenly Stardust. Jun Esaka is the author of this light novel, along with many others. Masashi Kishimoto took on the role of illustrator. Shueisha first published the story in 2019. Viz Media followed to release the Light Novel in English on November 22, 2022. Sasuke Retsuden Arc: Official Announcement & Visual!
This year, at Jump Festa 2023, many reveals on popular shows are being made. On December 17, 2022, the creators announced that Boruto would enter its next arc. Immediately it created ripples all over the internet. Boruto lovers wanted to follow the Code arc. While fans’ opinion on the new arc is split, the response is overall positive. Fans wanted to see the development between Sakura and Sasuke. The new arc has some surprises in store for them!
Boruto’s Kawaki and Himawari’s Ninja School Arc will end soon. Code Arc will follow after Sasuke Retsuden Arc. New artists will come to the screen for the opening and ending themes. Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Humbreaders will make the new OST. Further, a new key visual is out, which fans can check on the official site.
What To Expect In The Arc?
The plot will focus exclusively on Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke departs for a location far from the Land of Fire and makes his way to an astronomical observatory. There, he makes contact with Sakura, and the two of them go on a joint operation to do covert research to locate any remains of the Sage of Six Paths! Soon after, the two find themselves embroiled in a sinister plot! Whatever situation they find themselves in, Sasuke will surely escape all the odds.
The plot will focus on the duo’s relationship. So much was left out in the original storyline. Therefore, Sasuke will show his romantic side in this arc. As of now, the makers have confirmed only two episodes. However, it is likely that new episodes will also follow. The light novel has a total of 8 chapters. A manga adaptation of the story is also coming out bi-weekly on MangaPlus. So, fans can check that out!
