The company took to its websites‘ news section to announce its upcoming projects. Besides the common names, the announcement regarding the Vinland Saga caught many eyeballs. Sentai Filmworks Releases August Slate
Sentai Filmworks has finally confirmed the upcoming projects that the company will pick up till August. For starters, the company will be licensing the distribution of Maoyu Archenemy & Hero home videos. Moreover, Sentai is also releasing home videos for My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax. Additionally, The Magnificent Kotobuki Film is also under construction for the month of August. Thus, it looks like Sentai is going to have a crazy trimester this summer.
Vinland Saga: Home Video & Dub Release
One of the most significant announcements that we saw in the Sentai Filmworks’ new slate was the future plans regarding Vinland Saga. A few days ago, Sentai said they would be distributing the home videos for Vinland Saga starting this June. While the definite sale date has not been out yet, another announcement regarding this franchise came out recently.
Ever since the first release, Vinland Saga did not get an English dub. Thankfully, Sentai Filmworks is ready to pick up the project. The distributing company confirms that the latest Blu-ray Discs of the English dub will be out for sale on August 31, 2021. Moreover, the sale date of home videos is yet to be out.
