On Wednesday, the July issue of Kadokawa’s Shonen Ace magazine revealed that the Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor manga series would end in the magazine’s following issue on June 25, 2021. The serialization of this manga began in March 2015. Its author Taro Hitsuji has published a total of fifteen volumes so far. The latest one recently came out on March 26, 2021. However, the makers haven’t revealed the release date of its last compiled book, i.e., its 16th volume. But fans can expect it to release two or three months after the release of its last chapter.

The story of this manga series revolves around Sistine Fibel and her bestfriend Rumia Tingel. Both of them are students of the prestigious magical academy. Sistine joined this academy to fulfill her grandfather’s last wish, which is to explore the secrets of the mysterious Sky Castle. However, after the retirement of Sistine’s favorite teacher, he got replaced by a new lazy man named Glenn Radars. He is not even a certified teacher.
But the students don’t know that Glenn is a former assassin of the Imperial Court Mage Corps and is hiding his true powers. BMI later forced him to reveal his true powers, and it amazed everyone. The students helped Glenn come out of depression, and he finally finds meaning in instructing the children.
