Since it was a sequel to Hand Shakers, fans didn’t really have very high expectations from it. And our guess is that they might be right because, just like the original series, the sequel also failed to impress everyone. In fact, the storyline broke several rules made by its predecessor. The first minute of this show was so good that it made people think that W’z is a promising anime. However, after that, the show only went through a downfall. The only good thing about this show was its visuals and some OSTs. GoHands really surpassed themselves and did a splendid job in animating this show. The anime series was a flop, but its music performed well. But it wasn’t enough to get a renewal. So, if we look at the low ratings and poor reviews of the show, the chances of W’z Season 2 happening are very less. Despite all that, the anime still has a small fan-following that’s still waiting for its renewal.
Besides, the makers didn’t conclude the storyline and left an opening for another installment. Hence, there is a slight chance that they might actually renew this show despite all the negative responses.
