Yasuke’s normal life takes a turn 20 years later when he finds a singer at a local bar who goes by the name of Ichika. The story begins when Yasuke finds himself in the middle of a conflict that places him right against the Dark General. This dark and serious plot intrigues fans as every episode ends with a cliffhanger.

Yasuke’s good writing is evident in every scene. Each moment and its dialogues efficiently move the story forward. There are no filler arcs or scenes that make you want to scroll ahead. Every stage serves a purpose and has an essential payoff sometime later in the show. His friendship with his companion Saki is also well fleshed out.
