Uncle From Another World Anime is based on manga of the same name. Takafumi is the main character of the story. However, the real star is Takafumi’s uncle. His comatose uncle of 17 years woke up recently. Thus,, there are two important things about his uncle that are insane. The first is that the man loves video games. And the second is that, in his coma, he was transported to another isekai world where he was a hero’s guardian. The story now follows Takafumi as he deals with his magical uncle.
The official website of the Uncle From Another World Anime uploaded the key visual in the latest announcement. The visual shows a good idea of the artwork for the series. In the visual, the uncle is seen holding his glasses in the background. Three women from the other world stand in the front and center. These three girls are Elf, Mabel, and Alicia. Roses and chains decorate the rest of the space.

The official team of the anime includes Studio AtelierPontdarc as the producer of the show. Shigeki Kawai will be directing the Uncle From Another World Anime. Kenta Ihara will be overseeing and writing the script. He has previously worked on Full Dive and Mieruko-Chan. And Kazuhiro Ota will be designing the characters for the series. The designer has worked before on Natsu no Arashi!
As for the cast list, Takehito Koyasu will be playing the role of the uncle. Jun Fukuyama will join him in the role of Takafumi. Furthermore, Mikako Komatsu will be voicing Fujimiya. Additionally, Haruka Tomatsu will be playing the role of Elf. Moreover, Aoi Yuki will be voicing Mabel. Lastly, Aki Toyosaki will be playing the role of Alicia.
